Is it too soon to get the dress? My date is September 19th. I go for my first appointment in July to look.

Nope. But I am biased, my wedding is in Nov 2020 and I my dress has been purchased but I did not select a size yet since I'm hoping that will be different in a few months. Also, I am not alone there is a thread of other 2020 brides who got their dresses here.

Nope. I’m getting married May 2020 and got my dress by November of 2018 once my dress came into the store and got to retry it on I fell even more love with it. I think it depends on you, I only went to one bridal boutique and knew that was my dress!

I don't think it's too early at all. Unless you're planning to lose or gain weight (like a lot) then it wouldn't hurt anything to go ahead and get your dress. Gaining or losing a few pounds shouldn't matter between now and then as long as it isn't a significant amount. Just hold off on alterations until like a month or two before the wedding.

Are you sending out Save the Dates? If so when? I don’t know when to send them for my October 2020 wedding since we have family traveling from across the ocean but also from half way across the US.

I don't think it's too early if you know the one you pick is "the one"! My wedding is in February next year, and I purchased my dress in March!

My wedding isn't until 2022 and I have my dress already. I think that if you like it and the price is right, why not.. My dress hasn't been altered as I am loosing weight and once my wedding gets closer I will alter it then. My biggest issue is keeping it hidden from my FH as we live together. LOL..

I have tried to create a hashtag through Weddingwire and once I submit the information it doesn't do anthing. Am I doing something wrong? I was told that weddingwire will help you come up with a hashtag if you pay $7.00. I thought it would be fun to see what it came up with. This marriage thing isn't my first rodeo but it would be fun to be with the new trends. Any suggestions?
