2 pregnant bridesmaids!

Jess, on December 29, 2016 at 7:57 PM Posted in Planning 0 17

Hey ladies! I have been informed that 2 of my bridesmaid are pregnant. I'm so excited for them, and look forward to being the "friend aunt" to these future babies! But, I'm having the hardest time finding maternity bridesmaid dresses that are actually flattering/pretty/the right color. They will both be around 6 or 7 months by the time my wedding is here. Do any of you know of any reliable sites I can order from or stores?

My MOH was pregnant in another friend's wedding and they did the convertible/infinity style dresses and it was flattering as she grew from the time she ordered to the actual wedding. They ordered from Etsy.

Azazie has maternity options. I have 3 BM and my MOH will be 8 months pregnant on my wedding day. They all ordered from Azazie and they look amazing!

Look at infinity dresses. They are easy to adapt and change, DB has one. Twobirds is another brand and you can order a sample dress to try on before you buy. Like PP said there are many on etsy you can find.

We had infinity dresses from Etsy and it worked perfect for all three of my bridesmaids. The one on the far left was 7 mos. pregnant.

One of my BMs will be 5 months pregnant and all of my BMs had agreed to go through Alfred Angelo. When she went in to try on dresses, the consultants had her try on high waisted dresses so as her bump developed, it would grow u see the waistline of the dress. As far as I know, they didn't feel it was necessary for her to get an actual maternity dress, and she felt the consultant gave her great advice on how to order her dress so it would fit in a few months.

You probably don't need maternity dresses, just dresses with an empire waist.

My Matron of honor will be 12 days from her due date I just found out. I was thinking it depends how far along that maternity may be best. What is your color?

David's Bridal has convertible dresses. I have a pregnant BM and she is wearing it, and I want to add that it makes her stomach looks smaller.

I anticipated at least 1 BM becoming pregnant before the wedding. We purchased a one shoulder, high empire waist dress with a very flowy bottom from David's. 1 BM did become pregnant and she looked amazing and was comfortable! No alterations needed to fit the growing belly Smiley smile It also flattered the rest of my BP who were all different sizes.

Oh my gosh Erica I was totally about to post that picture!! My bridesmaid chose this dress because it's super flattering on everyone (sizes 6 to 22). They loved it! I also had a pregnant bridesmaid who was due 2 weeks after my wedding. She was very big in the stomach area and this dress worked great for her. The band sits just under the boobs so she had no issues with it restricting her belly (she was sitting pretty high too).

Also we ordered from the David's in Clive, IA. The manager was awesome and let my pregnant bridesmaid exchange her dress TWICE because she needed to go bigger. She ended up ordering 2 sizes bigger in the end.
