2 people walking you down the aisle

I was just wondering if any of you are or have had more than one person walk you down the aisle? And if you did, how did it work out? My dad has only been in my life consistently the last 2 years. I am still doing a father daughter dance with him, but I've always pictured my grandpa walking me down...

My dad has only been in my life consistently the last 2 years.

I am still doing a father daughter dance with him, but I've always pictured my grandpa walking me down the aisle because he's been my father figure my whole life, so that's who is walking me down.

I also feel like my mom needs to be honored in some way though because the last 22 years it's been her supporting me.

I was thinking about surprising her and asking her to walk me down the aisle, as well as my grandpa.

I love the idea of your mom and grandfather walking you down the aisle!

My FILs will be walking my FH down the aisle and my parents will both be walking me down the aisle.

@Shannon - LOVE that picture. I am saving it to show my mother and request that.

My sister had her bio dad & her step dad (my father, who is more of a father figure to her) both walk her down the aisle and it was sweet. I figure a visual may help some with the bouquet, etc! Smiley smile

I think that's a lovely idea. I'm having both my mom and dad walk me down the aisle because they're both my rocks and have been there for me my whole life. It's untraditional but you do what makes you happy.

I'm having both of my parents walk me. My mom raised me just as much (if not more) than my dad, so I feel like she should be a part of that moment. Traditions are broken all the time now, no one will bat an eye.

You can have whoever you want walk you down! I'm planning on having my dad with me, as well as my brother (to also help my dad since he is wheelchair bound) since they were the two first meaningful men in my life. Do what makes you happy!!

My step dad and my grandfather will be walking me down the isle. Linking arms with both of them, holding my bouquet in the middle.

My mom and dad have both been around my whole life (although my dad and I have some issues to work out). I'm walking myself down the aisle. Choose whomever you like, or choose no one. It's entirely up to you! There's a chance it will hurt your dad's feelings, though, so be prepared.

Both my dad and step dad walked me down the aisle one on each side.

I would say choose whoever you want.

My friend had her dad and step dad walk her it was so sweet and it worked nicely ... I thought about having both my mom and dad walk me because my mom has wanted to for years and now I don't have a choice she will be walking me because my dad passed away
