2 Moh?

Karla, on December 30, 2019 at 1:56 PM Posted in Planning 0 8

Hi All,

Has anyone else had 2 MOH? If so, how did it go? Plus and negatives would be appreciated. I am torn between asking just one of my Bestfriends when both play huge role in my life/wedding day.

I have a matron of honor and a maid of honor. They've both been involved in planning my bridal shower, but I think my matron of honor is "in charge". In my opinion there aren't really any positives or negatives necessarily, unless you're concerned that it would cause drama for some reason.

I had a matron of honor and a maid of honor. It didn’t feel any different to me.

I had two. Was fine aha nothing to report for me. I don't really feel like there was bad or good to it.

I have two! They are both my younger sisters. I have 3 other bridesmaids. I honestly felt like I could've asked any of the girls to be my maid of honor, I had a hard time choosing. I just decided to ask my two sisters, it didn't feel right to only ask one. All of my girls are a bit on the younger side, so most have never been a bridesmaid before. I knew getting into it not to expect a lot from them in terms of them planning parties or anything elaborate for me. I mean honestly my fiance and I are doing 95% of the wedding planning ourselves so none of my girls have much to do anyways which makes having the roles easier for them.

I was torn between my former best friend and my sister. I had considered having them both as maid of honor, but then I had a fall out with my former best friend so I asked my sister. Having my sister was a mistake because she was a nightmare to deal with. She made everything ten times more difficult. My brother ended up giving the toast instead because my sister refused. Wish I had picked my brother to be my man of honor. I have seen people have two though as well. My friend had both of her sisters. They each gave a toast.

Thank you everyone! I appreciate the feedback and will definitely lean towards having them both be MOH.

I'm going to be having 2 as well. One of them, who I've literally been friends with since I was born, (our mothers were BFFs) I sort of have to make her my MOH. Not that I don't want to, but she's not the most helpful/caring person I know. BUT she is my best friend. The other is my best friend of 10 years and she goes above and beyond to help me with everything and always sends me ideas and what not. The only negative, and difficult decision I'll have to make is who gets to stand by me... Other than that, I think having 2 MOH's is awesome and I'm sure both would be honored!

I have 2! My best friend is In Florida and my sister is local. They’ve been able to communicate and work together. It helps that my best friend is basically part of the family anyways
