That's so exciting! Getting RSVPs back is so fun and it makes all the wedding planning feel so real!!

That's nice that people are informally telling you they wouldn't miss your wedding. It certainly goes to their excitement about your engagement and their intentions as of now, but I would not consider that to be a true RSVP. With over a year to go there are work conflicts that can arise, people can be dealing with medical procedures or an illness in the family, a pregnancy or any number of other things. Take it for what it is worth, an expression of happiness for you and the hope that they will be there barring anything unforeseen.
