1St Hair Trial...

Aleah, on September 16, 2019 at 12:31 AM Posted in Hair and Makeup 0 11
So I had my first hair trial done last month by a woman my mom knows that use to do it for a living. I was so skeptical about it since she had no photos or anything. But I was really impressed.. I loved the simple look and the fat braid. My only concern is the curls, they fell out within the hour.. she said it’s because she didn’t use her hot rollers for the trial but on my wedding day they will hold all day. I’m wondering if I should schedule another trial WITH the hot rollers to see how they do? My hair has never been good at holding curls. I had a perm once and my hair was basically wavy for like a year lol. But no curls or close.
I wanted some hair to fall around my face since I am a bit overweight and am self conscious about my double chin when I laugh/smile etc,. I just don’t want to feel insecure on my wedding day.
What do y’all think?

I would ask for another trial with the hot curlers.

I agree. Another trial would be best. Its your wedding day after all, she should understand.

The only way you're going to feel better is if you get another one. You may need to pay out of pocket for a second trial but you'll feel better knowing for sure what needs done on the day to keep your look intact. Also I love the style ita super cute.

I agree that you should schedule another trial just because I think it’ll make you feel more secure going into your wedding day, but I love your hair!

Rapunzel hair! 😍 I love it. I agree you need a second trial if your hair doesn’t curl easily.

My hair doesnt curl easy either, so I would ask to do it again and just explain why. It's not her fault but trying to find a solution should be understandable. Smiley smile

Echoing pp, I would ask for another trial but I would also ask her to set the curls with a strong hold hairspray or texture spray.

You hair is very pretty but I agree with everyone that I would get another trial. I’m sure she will use more product to make sure it holds but it’s better to be safe than sorry. Good luck

I would request she does it exactly how it will be on your wedding day! Especially if you paid for the first one!

It looks beautiful to me! Also, as someone who's hair NEVER curls, I found that the rotating kind work the best. The curls held all day long. We tried curling my hair in high school with a regular curler and it took 8 different times to make it hold. One go with the rotating curler held just fine!

Your hair looks beautiful! I would definitely request that she does the trial the same way she will do it on the wedding day. And then go out and do stuff and see if your hair falls out
