1st Brazilian Wax tomorrow!! I'm scuuurrddd!! Any advice?

Pop a couple pain killers before you go

Advil ~30 minutes before appointment.

try to relax and not tense-up (getting tense can make it a little worse.)

there is nothing dignified about the process. just go with it.

wear clothing that will "breath" after.

Make sure your body wash is not anti-bacterial. If it isn't, pick up some baby wash. It can irritate your skin further resulting in bumps and sometimes sores.

Just remember it's worth it! A few minutes of pain for a few weeks of happy girlie parts :-)

Exfoliate a bit before you go, take some motrin, anti inflammatory, before hand. relax and enjoy. wear a long skirt or dress, no undies.

It hurts like a mo'fo' take Advil before hand and just power through it

Its not that bad as i thought it would be ... but it was slightly painful.. take a advil like megan said lol

I went for my first Brazilian in like 6 years today. I took Advil before...I think that helped. It does hurt, but nothing you can't handle. I second the no undies or really loose cotton undies after. It's hours later and my bum still hurts a bit, so I just keep taking Advil! Good luck--you can do it, and you feel soooo clean afterwards!!

Wear a skirt or dress. For some reason I feel less exposed when I have a dress or skirt on bc I'm technically not removing anything but my underwear. And believe me, you'd rather have a skirt on than pants after pulling hair outta your crotch.

Too late, but advice is to get sugared, not waxed.

I want to do this too. FH is not a fan, but I think I could convert him. I'm being totally serious here. Should I trim before I go?

Try sugaring. Waaaay better than waxing in my opinion!

Keep breathing! That is the thing I forget to do when I get waxed and of course a couple of anti inflammatory.

Nevermind waxing and sugaring.... Laser hair removal is the way to go.... Hairfree carefree and way less painful !!!
