18 month old flower girl

Sara, on June 28, 2016 at 2:16 PM Posted in Planning 1 8

Has anyone had an 18 month old flower girl, and if so, any suggestions on whether to try and let her walk down the isle or if she should be escorted down with someone or pulled in a wagon? It's my daughter so I want all eyes to be on her before I walk down.... but I also don't know if she will cooperate Smiley smile

The wagon may work. I don't see her walking down the aisle seamlessly

Sarah I have the same concerns. My daughter will be almost 2 when we get married and of course I want to be my flower girl but I'm worried she might not walk down the Isle. She is very sassy already and beyond attached to me. I'm thinking of having a wagon ready for my son to pull just in case she chooses not to walk

I have a two year old. She is walking with her mother because she can be unpredictable. It isn't a matter of whether or not she will walk down the aisle, but this way, if she is cranky, she can be carried. If not, she can hold her mom's hand and can be guided along the right direction.

Vote for wagon too. My 18 months old son could walk just find but he refused to when it came time. We had a wagon as back up.

I had a 19month as my ring bearer, and he made it down, he sprinted down, but he made it.

When one of my cousins got married, his 18 month old nephew was the ring bearer. He could walk just fine, but loved all the attention so just stood at the aisle grinning at everyone lol.

It's certainly cute, but if you're on a time crunch, either opt out or have an escort.

My niece was 18 months old in a wedding. She refused to walk down the aisle without her "baba" aka bottle. Long story short, it was a funny moment and the pics are to dieee for! Lol
