11 Months Away!

Laura, on February 17, 2019 at 2:54 PM Posted in Planning 0 11
I’m 11 months away from my wedding date (January 17, 2020) and I’m so excited! I’m absolutely in love with my fiancé and cannot wait to become his wife!
So far I have my dress, the church, and venue. I have my whole bridal party picked out, guest list done, and date for my family bridal shower (doing a joint one with my cousin).
I have a photographer/videographer in mind, as well as a band and bakery in mind. I’m just working on the deposits. I’m meeting with a florist this week. Where is everyone on their planning?
I love wedding talk!

We’re 9 months away yesterday (November 16, 2019)! We’ve got the venue, hair and makeup, photographer, and DJ. We’re still trying to finalize the guest list, so we can move forward with a caterer and baker. I’m going shopping for dresses on Saturday. Hoping I find the one!

I’m getting married on 10/19/19, and I’ve been fast with my planning! I had the venue (my church, for both ceremony and reception) booked about a month before we got engaged. (I knew he was going to propose.) At this point, I have the caterer, photographer, florist, baker, hair stylist, officiant, pianist, and singer all booked. We will not have a DJ or videographer, and I will not need a makeup artist, so I don’t have to worry about those. The guest list is completely set, and I have my save the dates AND invitations printed and ready to go. I have a website through Zola, along with a registry, and that’s been set up for over a month. I have a beginning plan for the ceremony. I have my dress and have found someone to alter it. I have my shoes. I just got my wedding band, which I love!! We also just took engagement pictures, so I’ll be able to finish and order our Shutterfly guest book soon. I’ll be buying table linens and chair covers versus renting, so that’s planned out. I have the mason jars for the center pieces, and I have runners for the tables. I have some signage that I bought and some I made.

Now I’m just waiting to save up money so that I can slowly buy the random things we need (cake topper, necklace for me, linens, etc) and pay for the vendors. We need to book our honeymoon, but I’m going through a job upheaval at the moment, so I’m waiting on that to settle down before I book anything. My fiancé needs to get a wedding ring; he already has a suit. I also need to reserve the restaurant we want to use for the rehearsal dinner and finalize how the ceremony will go. Whew! Best wishes to all of us with this!

To clarify, I paid all of the deposits on our vendors, so now I’m trying to save money to keep paying them so I don’t have everything due in September/October!

I am 11 months away too (well almost)! We are getting married January 27th 2020!! I’m so stinkin excited!!! I can’t wait to be Mrs. Reames! I already have the venue (it’s in Hawaii) and the reception venue for when we come back home (along with the guest list), a photographer (is picked out we just have to book them same with the hair and makeup team) oh and I have my wedding dress! I also have the engagement party, Bachelorette party and bridal shower planned. (My family owns a farm that they open up to the public in the fall and so after August I can’t have any parties since they will be busy so all my stuff has to be this summer that’s why it’s planned already) I also found all the outfits for all my parties and my bridesmaids dresses! We have also found each other’s rings and will be ordering them soon! So excited!!

I’m 11 months out too. January 25! I have the venue, a dress, dj, photographer, photo booth, caterer, hair/makeup artist and we just bought our wedding bands last week. The only thing left is to hire a florist and a baker. I’ve met with a florist but waiting to finalize my centerpieces. I still have to finalize the guest list and order save the dates and invites. Also need to figure out all the decor and go shopping for bridesmaids dresses.

6 months today for me. Most of the big things are in place. But I'm waiting until after busy season at work to do more of the details. I'm so excited!

I'm about 3 months away and I'm currently working on creating my bouquets and floral arrangements, and collaborating with a jeweler to design FH his wedding band. Next on the list is to visit the venue with my planner to decide on the layout and the flow of the day. FH needs to get his attire and his groomsmen's attire as well, and I need to help my parents find their outfits too. I feel like that this point I've got a lot of DIY projects to finish up and like all the little details to finalize.

4.5 months away here! All of the big things are all set/booked and paid for (venue, dj, photographer, baker, florist, hair stylist, make up artist, officiant etc). Now just getting the smaller things taken care of and starting to finalize details (reception seating chart, music, and so forth). The next big thing is our 3 month meeting, where we will go over how everything will flow and also where things will go, as well as ask any remaining questions. So excited!

Haha I feel the same! I feel like once you’re down to a few months to go, it’s mostly DIY small details to complete!
