So that is our dating anniversary, and I kinda love it. I also don't believe in superstitions and ours was just by chance. But as far as anniversaries go, it'll only be on a Friday once every number of years, and it makes it a little extra hilarious. My fiance loves horror films, and is also very unsuperstitious, so neither of us mind. We are getting married in September, but that's just for the weather.

I'd say don't worry about it! If that's the date that is available and you love the venue, then it's perfect. It'll be a special day for you forever.

So we had our wedding on October 13th, 2018. Loved it. Nice crisp fall day in PA. Where we had a ceremony and reception. BUT we OFFICIALLY got married on Friday the 13th in April of the same year, so I could get health insurance because I was only working part time. I did get my hair and make up done that day, and locked myself out of our apartment. My now husband had to come home with our key and let me in so I could get my wallet and shoes. That was the only mishap we had on Friday the 13th. It was 70 degrees and sunny that day. Friday the 13th is superstitious but I love superstitions. It's been good luck for us so far.

My parents anniversary is October 13th. They married young, and celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary last year. I don’t think any day has inherent bad luck- they’ve had many Friday the 13th anniversaries over the years!
