We are officially at the one year mark! Yay! When we booked our venue we started at 566 days!

We’ve made tons of progress since then. Our venue is nearly all inclusive so we didn’t need to find a caterer, alcohol, DJ, officiant, photographer or a baker. But we have found our florist, hair and make up artist and local stationary store for our save the dates and invites. I have my first dress appointment on November 16th and we are taking engagement photos in January. Then we’ll start working on all the little details.

My date twin!! I am SO EXCITED!!! I have found my venue, dress, photographer, bartender service, catering, florist, officiant, hair stylists, paper printing service for invites, DJ, and honeymoon!!! We're taking engagement photos this Sunday and will mail out STD's shortly after (our wedding is out of town for the majority of our guests). I've blocked hotel rooms already. Still need to figure out a make up artist, baker, rehearsal dinner location, and who the guys will use for their suit rentals. Debating on the china rental as of now also. Not a ton left to do. Just saving and waiting for 365 days to pass... hopefully fast What do you have in mind for your dress?

Yay! How exciting! We have our two hotel blocks secured, too. Sending Save the Dates as soon as we get the photos back. I am thinking of a ballgown (not too big) or an A Line; something with lace and possible an illusion neckline. What type of dress did you get?

Hello Date Twins!!! I hope this year flies by as quickly as the last 10 months that I have been engaged! We have our photographer booked and engagement photos taken, DJ booked, venue with food included booked, dress bought, rings bought, STD made and addressed ( just waiting on our website to be finished), church reserved, florist booked, and I have started working on centerpieces for reception. Oh and we bought the guitar that will be our guest book! Invitations are created just have to order them but I have time for that part along with the programs. Next is the baker, men’s suits and girls dresses and that will be the major stuff left to do. The rest is just the smaller details that can’t be done until we are closer to the date.

That will be so pretty!!! I love illusion necks😍 This was what I ended up choosing. It’s sounds so ridiculous but you will literally know when you put it on. Ulga, my consultant, kept saying the dress has already been picked by the gods and it will choose you😂 (she’s from Ukraine) Well it sure did! Funny how the dress that was my ”destiny” was over my budget. Oh well!!!
