Zipper to a Corset Back?

Has anyone changed experienced changing a zipper back to a corset back before? I bought my dress secondhand in September and it fit 100% perfectly, but when I tried it on today, I found it's too small...

I'm excited and nervous at the same time. I've been paying off my balance with my vendors and waiting for rsvps from guests ( hopefully this wouldn't be so stressful lol) and finalizing my timeline....
