Looking to book Punta Cana for our honeymoon. What are the best adult only resorts?

My FH and I have never been on a vacation together before just due to lack of funds so we want a fabulous honeymoon but can't afford anything crazy! So I have been looking into Costco vacation...

Just saw a very negative comment about this resort and we already booked... can somebody please tell me good things about it?! Lol we will be there late May.

So we set a date for August 2018. Is that too far to start planning? I'm open to May 2018 as well.
