Just curious how many people on here arent getting married til 2018? If so how are u working out any planning or are u even doing any planning yet?

Is it really necessary to have an engagement party? FH and our parents think we should have an engagement party in the spring (after the holidays and things begin to slow down event wise) our wedding...
