No Bridesmaids or Groomsmen?

Would it be weird if we had 50-100 guests (still unsure) and had no bridesmaids or groomsmen? We may do a best man and a maid of honor but doubt we would have anymore then that and flower girl/ring...

Well my Fiances family and friends (some of mine too) live back in NC. He really wants to have our wedding there now for everyone because he's worried his family won't be able to come out to Texas....
