Crafting with Extra Invitations

I ordered waaaay too many invitations (over 100). I was a little tipsy and definitely overtired. What craft can I do with the extras? Confetti? Paper mache? I do have a Cricut!

Are RSVP cards necessary? My fiancé and I are on a budget and we’re trying to find ways to cut costs. I don’t want to stray too far from tradition but it seems like such a waste of paper and money....
