Ryan and I met on vacation when we were 12 years old playing Marco Polo in a pool in Florida. I lived in London, UK and he lived in Virginia, USA. We stayed in touch though msn messenger, AIM just as friends going through big changes in our lives like big exams, applying to college, going to college, loss of loved ones, new relationships etc. Then when I graduated, I decided to take the Greyhound around the states to explore with a good friend from college. It happened that he would be in Nashville when we were there, we met up and I remember thinking how gorgeous his eyes were. I persuaded him to travel outside of the US for the first time and visit me during an internship in the middle east. We went on a two week road trip together and thats how our relationship started. After two years long distance I moved to the US. We had been living together for three years before I asked him to marry me. After a 6 mile run on one of our favorite bridges in London, I got down on one knee and popped the question (we both like bridges and running so it made sense). We are getting married this November in Florida, where we met and I couldn't be happier!
