Does your view on birthdays differ from your significant others?

We had decided after venue shopping not to have a big wedding. But now my dad said he’s willing to do whatever it takes. Do I have a small destination or take him up on my dream wedding in my hometown ?

We finally have set our hearts and wallets on a venue.. the only thing is now my FSIL wants to have her wedding there one month prior to mine. Would you want to use the same venue?
