We are having an outdoor wedding and buffet style. For seating arrangements at wedding for reception. Why would you need to assign seating?

Hi When you are doing a 2 entree buffet for a wedding, do you need your guest to let you know what food options they want or is a 2 entree buffet where they just decide what they want when they are getting there food at the wedding? Cheyenne
