When do I send out save the dates and then when do i send out invitations?! Help!! I heard 8 months for save the dates but what about invitations?! Thanks

I am newly engaged and we have a 1 1/2 year engagement. I am in college so that is the reason why I wanted a year and a half long engagement. More time to save up money and not so stressed for time for planning. I live in a semi-small town not too...
