Hello all!! I am now at about a year and a half away from my big day! Since it is a "destination" wedding for most of our guest list, how early do you send out save the dates?? Did anyone decide to not send save the dates to save money??

Hi everyone! I'm in the early stages of planning and I am starting to look at wedding invitations. Good lord are they expensive! Has anyone downloaded a template and printed their invites from home? Does it require specific paper? Is it worth it?
