Question getting married October 2017 how soon should you start wedding planning ? I'm a planner and want everything set so when closer to wedding date we won't stress but I don't want to start to soon .

Having our wedding oct 2017 how soon should I send our save the dates ? We decided to not do formal invitations rather send save the dates and them rsvp i plan on making them myself . I was thinking July 2017 but wasn't sure if that gives people time...
