I am looking to spend as little amount as I can on food, but still have a good dinner for my guests. Does anyone know the best way to not spend $600 on food?

I am looking to keep our wedding as inexpensive as possible. We would like to avoid flowers because they are expensive and will just get thrown away. Is there any recommendations to what the bridal party can carry beside bouquets?
