In the process of printing out my seating chart for our diy board hubby made but should the quests names be in alphabetical order? Or no it doesn't really matter?

I am have a hard time trying to pick out a guestbook !! I do not really want to do the traditional book, but i am nervous to do something else because we are going to have a good number of kids at the reception. Please help
