My fiance and I want to make our reception fun... I mean FUN. Any ideas for ways to make that happen? I've heard ideas ranging from board games at each table to getting everyone involved in some kind of murder-mystery game. Any ideas?

I've got an extremely limited budget and unfortunately, my groom's family is HUGE. I need help figuring out what is possible for venues. Details: We're getting married in April (Houston, TX) and food and decor are DIY (prof. caterer in family, etc)....
