Has anyone painted the soles of their shoes blue? Just curious if it made them slippery at all. And has anyone done this to the bottom of a wedge?

I want to do red nails, probably a deep raspberry color. I can't decide if I want to be all matchy matchy and have the same toe color, or go slightly darker. Anyone else having bright nails? Are you toes matching?
