I was looking to book a photographer for my wedding and someone recommended Thumbtack in a different post. I checked it out and I was wondering if anyone else had experience with that, what you liked or didn't like about it?

I'm just wondering what to look for in a photographer, also how did you find yours? There are a lot out there so it's tough to know who is good and I know reviews can be faked sometimes. Any advice is welcome. Thanks in advance.
