Activity for Megan

Has any one used Mirena the IUD? I've used every pill out there and my gynecologist thinks that Mirena is the next option. I have a pamphlet on it, but i was wondering if anyone has any good or bad experiences with it.

My freind is getting married, and is having everything 6 hours away. both her family and his family are both here, and they are having nothing here. is it rude for me to suggest having something a little closer?
