I wanted to make something unique for the guest to sign to put in our house. What are some of you ladies doing for your weddings for the guest to sign?

How far up do I wear my garter? I'm afraid if I wear it too low it will fall off, but if I wear it too high my fiancé might get lost up my dress. Lol

But I'm seriously wondering if it's going to be worth it. I'm having a small wedding of about 50 people and it's really stressing me out. Lol I just want to know is it that important to have seating chart?
