For those of you that don't know, my relationship started because of a Statistics class and two Taffy Apples. Derwin and I had attended the same high school for years, and had never crossed paths until Sr. year in Mr. Dasbach's Statistics class. (That I didn't need. I was just taking a semester to fill a space.) The first thing I noticed was this big ole dork with a plaid shirt, gorgeous smile, and the funniest laugh. He was my boo before the week was out, but he didn't know it yet. (Ask Rahgene, she'll tell you. I prophesied it.) So, time progressed and I still hadn't gotten this dude's number, but luck was on my side. I was a flag girl, and we started selling Taffy Apples to raise money for uniforms. THIS WAS MY CHANCE! So, I asked Derwin if he wanted to buy some. I knew if he bought one, he was in love with me and we'd live happily ever after. AND he had to write his number down on my sheet , so I was gonna get the digits!! So, he ended up buying two. (I got it like that.) Now I couldn't just be thirsty. I had to give it some time before I texted him. So, I waited like a week then I texted him, "My coach says your Taffy Apples will be here soon. (Smooth.) Then I started spitting mad game, and bloop. Now we've been together five years. Moral of the story: I'm fine and he luh me.
