How far in advance did you start your DIY projects? My wedding isn't until December 2015 but I am doing invitations myself and was debating on starting them soon. Just to make sure I get the technique down pat.

Okay. Me and FI have been engaged since New Years but he won't let me tell anyone about it until he buys me a ring. I have one, but I guess it isn't fancy enough for him and we haven't been able to decide on one. I don't want a big shiny thousand...

I have having a hard time planning my pirate wedding. We are getting married on an actual pirate ship in (clearwater, fl,) but I have no idea where to have the reception. Does anyone have any ideas that would give a bit of an "authentic" feel??
