About Us: Good Day to You, My name is Denise & My Fiance` is Heshimu (pronounced HE-SHAH-MOO). Thank You kindly for your response to our request for more information regarding your venue & services. A little bit about us & our situation: We have a strict budget of $2000 - $3000 & no more than 40 - 50 guests, which includes the wedding party in that count. We are both current & prior Military Veterans on severe budget restraints. My future husband is Active Duty Army & just came home from almost a year in Kuwait. We have been together 4 years and he is 52 & I am 46 years young. We found Love in one another when we least expected it, in the midst of divorce and a bit of chaos in our lives. He has been deployed twice just since we've been a couple. During his Army career since 1987, He has done 2 tours in Iraq, 1 in Afghanistan, 2 in Italy/Africa (Combined) & 1 in Kuwait. However, this does not stop us from wanting to share our commitment to one another, even during this time of Covid-19. We have a very select number of people that we'd even want with us and only few in the wedding party. Do we have a "dream" ideal wedding? Well, YES of course we do, we just don't have a dream budget. I have already purchased my gown (under $200 from Amazon) & yes, it's my dream dress, one that I have been eyeing for 15+ years. He will be wearing his highly decorated Dress Blues Uniform. Am I asking for a miracle? No, just maybe some help and possible considerations. I am prior US Navy and was injured during duty and sustained some spinal damage, so I am considered 100% disabled through the VA. Therefore, I am personally on a fixed income.
