What are people's opinions on magnets versus regular save the date cards? I like the idea of magnets but since so many people have stainless steel and don't use magnets anymore will they get ignored? Thoughts? Thank you!

I am looking for a caterer under $9K for 120 guests in the DC/Northern VA area. Any suggestions? Everything seems to be $10K plus even when the venue provides many of the necessities. I don't want to skimp on food quality, however....
