It tells me to tell you about myself and I keep starting with my age as if that defines me. Yes, I'm 31. Yes, I always dreamed I'd be here before this. However, that didn't happen and I'm a bride to be now. I am a middle child with two sisters. We were all raised to be independent women, and for those that identify the same, you know it can make finding the one a challenge. I work in a male driven industry and apparently came off very intimidating to a lot of guys. Well thankfully my fiancé didn't find me so. Or maybe its because I'm just opposite his ex wife that makes me shine even more in his eyes. Either way, I met my fiancé at work and the first time I talked to him I couldn't help but feel I was talking to a male version of myself. He is just that. His name is Jeremy, and he is 6 years my senior. He is once divorced with two precious boys that are 9 and 5 right now. We have been together now for 3.5 years. We got engaged in July after two failed plans thanks to COVID. We plan on doing our wedding in our backyard, with friends and family. Though I want it to look beautiful, I want it laid back and a good time. I don't want a formal sit down meal. I want people up playing yard games, hanging by the fire as the sun sets, dancing, drinking, enjoying the BBQ and each other. I can't wait to jump back into starting to plan our big day, and celebrate a life of love with my new family.
