The first day we met we were two strangers living separate lives only to soon encounter how near we've always been. They say that by chance is what leads our fate, but I believe by Grand Design we were made to find each other. That it is truly on God's timing of how we meet one another. We met on February 3, 2019 at a Super Bowl Party hosted by his Cousin. We had a mutual friend that worked at both of our Dealerships and he invited me with him to this Super Bowl Party. Carlos and I did not speak as much to each other, but I remember telling our mutual friend that I thought he was cute. I told him not to tell him as he might get a big head on his shoulders. In 2 month's time I'm heading to a Dealership Car Show and get an unknown text message letting me know that it was Carlos. At that point, I just did a face plant off of a scooter and was still excited about his text. We went on our first date that weekend and it took off from there. We started traveling together starting at South Carolina, to Colorado, to Florida, and then to Canada. That was on September 19, 2019 at 3:53pm where he asked me in the most Beautiful Botanic Garden in the world (The Buschart Gardens) in Canada to be his girlfriend. We continued to travel and grow with each other. I learned that he grew up in Marble Falls, Texas and I grew up in a small town less than an hour away in Copperas Cove, Texas. Even through College, I was still near him but we did not ever cross paths. We had already thought of plans together and set off thinking about the future. God had set our hearts and minds into motion for our future together. The day of June 25, 2020 changed our lives as he knelt down on one knee in front of both of our families and proposed.
