Activity for tswofford

I want something that we can do at the reception that will make everyone laugh a prank a joke or something. Any ideas?

My mom wanted to know if they are supposed to get the groom a gift? We know about the bridesmaid/groomsmen gifts and gifts to each other but what about gifts to the new soon to be son or daughter in law?

We have decided to not do the formal dinner since it will be like 4pm. But I need to come up with some ideas for finger foods. We are going to do a buffet style but don't want to look to cheap (ie. pigs in the blanket). Any suggestions.

We are paying for the entire wedding out of our pocket. What exactly is a rehearsal dinner and do we really need to do it? I know we have to rehearse but paying for another dinner is a bit out of our budget.
