Activity for Amanda

I am wondering what other brides have done in order to save money on their wedding. I want to save money on decorations and refreshments for the reception.

My fiance and I want to wear our wedding colors for our engagement pictures. They are red, white, and black. How can we both complement eachother without looking too matchy. Any help will be good and appreciated, and pictures will also be a big help....
