Does anyone know if you are getting married in sc would you need to get you marriage license in north carolina where you reside ? I don't have a clue??

Ok I need a little help so far I have my venue, what is the order that I need the rest of the things to come in.? Such as when to look for the dress, caterer, etc...

I am too lost and trying to plan a wedding is so over the top.. I'm trying to keep it together. I just need to know where to begin. Please somebody help :-(
