Activity for natasha

I have a close friend who I would like read something during the ceremony. But I have not been able to decide what to have her read. I don't want something that is like a speech but a nice poem or something of the sort. Any suggestions?

Ok so first my FH only has his mom his dad has been gone for a few years now. So that being said his only immediate family, his mom, may not come to the wedding! We invited his ex-step-dad to the wedding and he will be singing during the ceremony....

So I am trying to keep the food cost as low as possible while stil having decent food. But my problem en-lies with the time of day, 3pm. My wedding os on a Sunday at 3pm so I don't want a dinner at the reception but I can not think of what I should...
