to scuff or not to scuff....

To break in shoes, i am going to wear them around for the next 10 days off & on normally, i would also "Scuff" my shoes to prevent slipping. However, I NEED pix of the bottom of my shoes with i do stickers (see pic- example) Will the scuff show? ...
