Activity for MICHELLE

My MOH asked for me to pick a date for the Bridal shower and the only date that's working out is the day before Mothers Day (5-7-16). I keep going back in forth in my head on if this is rude to have as our shower day....what do you ladies think?

Is it weird to have Canon in D as the Processional Song? I want to walk out to "A Thousand Years" but i love Canon in D. I can't decide if I should change that because I know its traditionally a Bride Entrance song and to have the bridal party walk...
