Did anyone feel uncomfortable trying on wedding dresses?

I went this weekend with my mother to try on wedding dresses. I felt totally uncomfortable walking out to look at myself in the big mirror in front of a room full of strangers. I told the sales person they should have mirrors in the dressing rooms...
