Hi Lynne, CONGRATULATIONS to your engagement!!! Well, are are some ideas for your wedding. Outside: ceremony by Savannah’ Famous water fountain at Forsyth Park and the reception on the other end of the park near the stage inside of tents; or just have both ceremony/reception near the stage in the tents; Red Gate Farm: you can have both ceremony/reception outside; Bitanical Garden: just the wedding ceremony surrounded by beautiful flowers; The Westin Resort Hotel across from Savannah River; Tybee Island: on the beach or gazebo or at the Tybee Light House just to name a few. (Inside) Savannah’s famous tourist attraction at the Catholic Cathedral Church downtown; Hyatt Regency Hotel on Bay/River Streets; Gingerbread House; Savannah Station ( parking will be an issue); (Photos) you can also take the wedding party to the Westin Resort Hotel outside overlooking the Savannah River; Forsyth Park Water Fountain and/or any of the Savannah’s Squares. Just some ideas to get you started on your planning. Again, CONGRATULATIONS!!!
