Activity for A&J

I am debating (along with my FH) on doing our own place cards and eventually our menu cards. What do you think? A good or bad idea? Also, are menu cards really necessary if we are having a served dinner WITH a meal selection already made beforehand...

HELP! I am looking to book a make-up artist for my wedding that does home service but does NOT require to do makeup for the bridal party as well!? Since I am having only two bridesmaids, and they want to do their own make-up, it is nearly IMPOSSIBLE...

I got a few offers from various DJ's, and they all charge from $600(after discounts,excl.taxes) and up to $1000. Are those prices reasonable, if they are there from 6pm-1am???
