I am looking for fairly inexpensive wooden numbers to use for my table numbers... I would like to paint and decorate the myself!! Any ideas?

I want to make my own centerpieces, I want to do the lanturns with pillar candles and flowers in a wreath around it and I'm looking at about $35 per centerpiece, is that crazy or is that about average?

What are you all using for table numbers? I was planning on using the sticker labels on wine bottles but they turned out looking cheap. Plan B is using wood numbers that stand alone but it is hard to find them at a reasonable price- I need #'s 1-28!...
