Is anyone else checking their registries online frequently to see if things are being bought? I am totally not a materialistic person but I can't stop checking!

I have been engaged for exactly 9 months today! The wedding is in about 4 months. How long has everyone been engaged, and how long with the entire engagement be?

I see lots of great posts about what everyone is doing for wedding favors. I really haven't found anything that fits my fiance and I well enough to want to do it. Is everyone doing some sort of favor? Is it ok not to?
