Activity for NJ Bride

So, as many of you know, we were in danger of having to come up with a plan B for the reception because they were hit by Irene - we knew their power was out, but we didn't know what other sort of damage they might have and they weren't getting back...

Just wanted to let you guys know that I've heard rumors that some people who can't make my reception are coming to the ceremony! I never would have thought to print out extra programs, but I guess because it's in a church, the ceremony is also open...

So... we can't reach anyone at our venue and the reports of flooding keep getting closer and closer to our venue. My parents are willing to drive out there tonight, but they live an hour away, so I'd rather not ask them to do so if someone is right...

So... the shore town where our venue is, is flooded (and the venue is on a lake 1/2 a mile from the shoreline)... the boardwalk where we were taking pictures is 3/4s destroyed... the cake, limo and dress shops are all on the shore in towns that...

Three weeks 'til and Irene will be hitting my venue in NJ. It's about half a mile from the beach and on a lake. Oh, and the cocktail room is made entirely of glass. I'll be calling them first thing Monday! And we were gonna take pictures on the...
