My fiance and I met through our water polo club team where we both played. At practices I would always catch him looking at me but never talked to each other since we were both new to the club. After being on the team for about a month, I decided to attend a fundraiser to help the boys team raise money so they could go to the Junior Olympics. The fundraiser was on July 14, 2012 which is when we 'officially' met and introduced ourselves to each other. That same day my fiance and I went to the drive ins with friends where we held hands and our feelings for each other grew fast. After texting 24/7 and being around each other as much as time allowed - 8 days later (July 22, 2012) we went on a dinner/movie date after a water polo tournament. This is when he asked me to be his girlfriend and had our first kiss. After almost 6 years he popped the question and I could not be more excited to say yes! 💕 We are truly each other's best friend.
