Zenju Weddings and Events of Hawaii, LLC is hands down the reason why we had THE BEST DAY OF OUR LIVES! Yanicke, is the owner of this company and she is hands down the best coordinator! My husband and I hired her to take care of all the stress as we are in California and she is in Honolulu. We booked her and her team to do full coordination for our wedding in Kaneohe, Hawaii. It was one the best decisions we have ever made. We were married at the Paliku Garden at Kualoa Ranch in Kaneohe, Hawaii on June 14, 2023. Not even a month ago and I still cannot believe our dream wedding came to life. I am still on cloud 9 of how beautiful everything was and how smooth everything went.
From the first time we spoke with Yanicke, we could tell she was someone who would get it done. I had called Kualoa Ranch to make sure I was able to book her because per the rule of booking Kualoa Ranch, you need a minimum of day of coordinator. It pleased me to know that she had worked events on the ranch so she did not have to go through an interview process with them. What we loved the most about her is that she actively listened to our wants and our vision for our wedding. She always reassured us that she would work with our budget and not to worry. We would often text, do zoom meetings, and was always available to us.
Yanicke made sure to be the contact person for every vendor and made things so easy for us. She gave us vendor options and I appreciated that because I still felt in charge of deciding who to book. The vendors she suggested were so awesome! Every vendor went above and beyond and I am so glad Yanicke had these connections. Our wedding looked amazing and all our guests loved everything about it. There were no issues with any.
On the day of the rehearsal, Yanicke went over the setup and how everything was going to play out on the day of the wedding. On the wedding day, Yanicke came to our hotel to check on us and make sure we were up and ready to get the day started. I personally loved that about her because she was very attentive to us. When we arrived at the venue, everything was set to go. It looked so beautiful and dreamy, a dream come true. It looked so elegant and classy. I felt like I was in a dream that whole day because of how surreal it felt. Our wedding should have been featured in a magazine! Our wedding was over the top, in a great way, more than what we had expected. The vendors had surpassed our expectations.
From the beginning of the wedding to the end, she was running the event smoothly. I hate planning and having her make sure we were on schedule was so great. The reception included a great buffet, beautiful floral arrangements, an awesome Polynesian performance, a very detailed photographer, and a great DJ and emcee who knew how to get the guests excited.
If I were to have another event in Hawaii, I would not hesitate to book Zenju Weddings and Events of Hawaii, LLC again because they made our wedding such a great experience. Definitely recommend to anyone having a destination wedding. She will provide you a list of her preferred vendors that she trusts and they go above and beyond. She will not disappoint. I guarantee! I do not know where to start. I hired Yanicke from Zenju Weddings. I loved her vibe and her realness. She tells you the truth and not what I want to hear. She thought of details we did not think of. I had no idea of design. I went on my Pintrest and sent her so many pictures and was all over the place. She simplified my design which created a very classy feel. The colors, the fabrics, the draping, the lawn furntiure was all so uniqiue. I gave her complete control and told her to surprise me. I was definitely surprised! It was so beautiful with vintage couches by the ocean with a regal touch. My guests could not stop complimenting me on the design. The wedding was flawless!!! We ran a little behind schedule due to the Zenju staff having to check all the vaccination cards, but she caught back up in the timeline. We were back on track. All her vendors were amazing and fit our budget and style perfectly. The only flaw in the planning is that some of the tasks took awhile to be completed, but she did state in her contract that all tasks are in order of wedding date, so I expected that.
Our special day was way much more than I imagined. This would not have been possible with out Yanicke and the Zenju staff. I trusted her and she went above and beyond. I highly recommend Zenju Weddings and Events of Hawaii.... She is amazing at what she does! We live in France and we will be back in ten years to do our vow renewal with Zenju Wedddings again. You won't be disappointed but you have to release control and trust your coordinator! Let them do their job... -

I hired Zenju Weddings for my wedding on July 15, 2023. They were a great value for the service provided. They had zoom meetings, were there at the rehearsal, and was there on the wedding day the entire time! They helped create a timeline for our wedding. I was most impressed with how they set up my venue and helped clean up. I don’t know what I would have done without them! It made that part stress-free. The team set everything up beautifully and we’re such a help taking everything down. At the end of the wedding, everything was already in boxes so we just needed to pack the car and go! I’m thankful I had Zenju weddings for my special day. -

Yanicke and Shay worked so hard to make our day special. Without her our wedding wouldn’t been as memorable or magical as it was! Everything went smoothly on the day of the wedding, and even when something came up around videography Shay resolved it in 5 minutes. I didn’t need to stress! The vendors they matched us with were awesome. They knew the vision we had and they made it come to life. My guests said it was one of the best weddings they had ever been to. -

Wedding at Hale Koa Estate
Yanicke and her team were absolutely amazing! They went above and beyond with everything. Everything was coordinated to a T. The vendors she recommended were all amazing. Guests couldn’t stop raving about the food and the aesthetics. Our wedding was more than we could have dreamed of. If you are planning a wedding in Oahu or any other area serviced by Zenju Weddings you absolutely need to give them a call! -

Magical wedding
Yanicke was an amazing wedding planner and made my vision come to life. Planning a wedding across the world isn’t easy and I felt at ease knowing she was with me every step of the way. She gave great advice and picked the best vendors. She thought of every little detail that most wouldn’t know. I had complete trust in her and all the choices. I realize now that you get what you pay for, and i will go to Zenju again for every silver gold diamond or whatever kind wedding out there to commemorate each decade married . Shoulda listened to Yanicke back in may, but the venue itself which shes referred herself after hearing out my wants for a wedding, in a snap! It was figured out. I know what to save for next time -

Professional and responsive
Yanicke is amazing. Despite covid pushing us back a year, she gave us the wedding of our dreams. She's professional yet tenacious in the best way, especially as covid guidelines changed constantly and affected our venue. Communication was often and quick. I honestly had little idea what my wedding should look like, so she designed the whole thing. It was stunning and pretty much in budget. She had it handled from start to finish. Plus her preferred vendor list? Awesome. There was excellent talent there. Thanks a ton Yanicke. -

A Hawaiian dream come true.
Zenju Weddings & Events has been by far the best choice my husband and I could have ever made. At first we thought about planning a huge wedding here in Florida. But with COVID and it’s up and downs we figured a destination wedding for just him and I was the best option. He randomly chose Honolulu, Hawaii and being that I am Polynesian it just seemed like the perfect place. No matter if you’re planning a huge, small, or elopement wedding. I highly recommend Zenju Weddings & Events to make your dreams come to life. If you’re on a budget or even rich, they will make your vision come to life.
We spoke with Yanicke in the beginning of this year over the phone. She was trustworthy from the very start. You could tell she knows what she’s doing just by conversing with her. She took words out of my mouth as if she was in my head. She painted me this picture of a dream wedding on the beach. I’ve envisioned this since I was a young girl. If not, it was way more than I could have even fathom. I felt so comfortable with placing our wedding in her hands. From the very start she made us feel like we had no worries. With COVID going on, it was/is a scary feeling not knowing how things could end up. But for some reason she made us feel like this was completely possible. From day one right after speaking with her, we knew we were going to sign her contract and hire Zenju Weddings & Events. It just felt right! She communicated with us from start to finish. Provided us numerous emails, texts, and phone calls with all details. Yanicke always made us feel like we could contact her at anytime. As busy of a woman that she is with many booked weddings and elopements at hand, she always had time for our random questions or concerns. She took care of literally everything. A true multitasker!
And when I tell you to trust her, I mean in all shapes and forms. There’s no fear when it comes to Zenju! This company, their employees and vendors are top of the line. I don’t just write reviews for anything or anyone. But when a person or people go above and beyond for me or the people I love. They deserve for the world to know how much they mean to me and how much they can mean to someone else. Each and every vendor from makeup/hair stylist, assistant, photographer, videographer, officiant, florist, musician/singer and of course the one and only, our wedding planner, Yanicke Lim Sang fulfilled our wedding dreams.
It doesn’t matter if your family like mine are not physically there, you will feel the love regardless. Each and everyone of these individuals were remarkable, loving, welcoming, brought great energy, and are just overall genuine people. I completely fell in love with all of them. It makes me tear up how much they made my wedding day. I would relive that day everyday if I could. I felt no stress what so ever. Yanicke really did such an amazing job. You can tell that she truly loves what she does because it shows.
Believe in this team, believe in Yanicke! She will not let you down, I promise anyone that. I had THE best wedding I could have ever wanted. She is worth every penny and so much more. Her presence alone will make your day. These human beings were sent from the man above. Hawaii is just the place to be. She will recommend you to nothing but the best and provide you that too. Thank you Zenju Weddings & Events. Thank you, Yanicke, Finau, and all of your vendors. We love all of you and will never forget what you’ve done for my husband and I. I am grateful beyond words. If I could suggest one thing about planning a wedding, is to hire Zenju weddings!! We had our wedding at Turtle Bay Resort at the Northshore Oahu on 6/26/2022. Having Yanicke and her staff help with the wedding process just eliminated all sorts of stress. Trust me when I say this.
Let me give you a back story. I hired a different wedding coordinator back in January 2022 and by mid-April 2022, none of my vendors were booked. My wedding was one and a half months away!!! I had no flowers, no photography/videography, no DJ, no decoration, etc. The wedding coordinator did a "no-show" to our monthly zoom calls, twice!! I knew that it was time to fire that terrible wedding coordinator and hired a new one. I was desperate. One other thing to mention too, we live in Los Angeles, CA, and planning our destination wedding was already scary. Thank goodness Yanicke came to the rescue. I spent an hour with Yanicke on the phone discussing my situation, she felt so bad for me that she gave me all of her vendors' contacts (before signing any contract with her due to my time frame). She made me feel so comfortable. From that point, it was smooth sailing since.
On our wedding day, Yanicke and all her staff are very organized and professional. They made our wedding vision come to life. The wedding was extremely organized and ran smoothly. I could've been happier. All my guest were super impressed with how everything turned out, everyone had an amazing time. Our wedding day was just simply perfect, thanks to Zenju weddings. -

Amazing experience!
We had our wedding at Loulu Palms 8.8.22. Hiring Zenju weddings was the best decision we made to plan and coordinate our wedding. Yanicke and all her staff are all very organized and professional. They made our wedding vision come to life. We live in Florida and we were scared of planning the wedding from a long distance but Yanicke made the process easy. All of the vendors she recommendations were amazing. The wedding was extremely organized and ran smoothly. All my guest were super impressed on how everything turned out. They all had an amazing time. Our wedding wouldn’t have turned out as great as it did if it wasn’t for Zenju weddings. We’re so happy that they were part of our special day. -

Our daughter got married in June of 2024 at Kualoa Ranch. It was a dream wedding thanks to Zenju Weddings. Yanicke Lim Sango-Washikowitz was fantastic to work with even when we were planning from Oregon. She had great ideas, kept us on track and was budget minded. She was proactive and solved problems before they happened. She made sure things ran smoothly with no disappointments. We highly recommend Yanicke and her business Zenju Weddings.

Our experience planning our destination wedding in Oahu, Hawaii with Yanicke, where we first met and fell in love, was nothing short of a fairytale. As a newly engaged couple living in New Jersey, we had been ideating on whether we should pull the trigger on organizing our wedding in Hawaii - the ultimate destination wedding location - not to mention, one of the most beautiful places on Earth. Just knowing this, we assumed it would be out of our budget, especially given that we were planning a big fat Polish-Indian wedding spanning multiple days, faiths, cultures and more!
We began emailing quite a few planners via The Knot and Wedding Wire just to get a feel for what we could except from planning a wedding in Hawaii in general. Beyond worrying about our budget, we were torn on whether we could logistically execute something so elaborate being so far away….until that fateful Monday morning back in 2024, when Yanicke called me out of the blue. She quickly introduced herself, mentioning how she had received our inquiry, and immediately dove into her ideas for our special day. I just loved that she took the initiative to do that, especially given the crazy, 6-hour time difference!
She explained how she had worked with a venue that could double as accommodations for us and our immediate family, something we knew would be one of the best ways to actually host and easily organize the wedding weekend of both Indian and Polish wedding festivities.
For us, Yanicke REALLY shined when it came to tapping her vast network of vendors and and managing our budget. She advised us on what we should prioritize and invest in, and what we could do without, while still maintaining the overall vision and vibe we wanted to create for ourselves and our guests on the the big day.
She was EQUALLY impressive on both our rehearsal and wedding days. She suggested we rehearse not just the Catholic, but the and Hindu ceremony as well, which was so worth it given the many rituals and parent involvement. The timeline she had started putting together months before our wedding, plus the finalized version accounting for vendor arrivals, additional notes and moments we needed to incorporate, was exactly what we envisioned and needed the most, and everyone was locked in and delivered once the big day came. On our wedding day, Yanicke managed every vendor, navigated any delays with grace, and even helped with family drama all while keeping us perfectly on track. We felt supported, celebrated, and completely stress-free with her by our side.
Yanicke is a real gem with years of wedding planning wisdom and sharp networking skills that is truly hard to come by these days. She advocates for both her clients and her network, and will make you feel like family from Day 1.
