Worth every Penny!
My wedding was anything but to plan. My husband passed out at the church, mother was on a rampage and I was a bit tipsy and my dress ripped. Nicole was my saving grace, I showed up at my reception and EVERYTHING was perfect. Every fake candle was on, every set of fairy lights, she catered to my every need. She kept all the vendors in line and even bustled my dress after NO ONE knew how. My husband wanted green beans and BOOM Nicole was there with the green beans. She packed everything up at the end of the night too. Looking for a coordinator, look no farther! -

Made our day so perfect!
I was debating whether or not to hire a coordinator due to our budget, but as a DIY bride, I had a lot going on and Nicole brought my vision to life! Absolutely exceeded my expectations. She was very easy to work with and responded to my emails in a timely manner! Our day was just so beautiful and stress free and a HUGE part of that is all thanks to her! Worth every penny and if I ever have another big event, she is the first one I will call! I can't thank her enough! -

Nicole and her sister Vanessa were wonderful to work with. When I first told my husband that I wanted to hire a day-of-coordinator he was skeptical but now agrees it was some of the best money we spent on the wedding. They created a timeline that flowed, helped set up decor and clean up at the end of the night. Vanessa even helped pin my dress up to keep me from tripping on it while dancing. Several small things didn't go as planned the day of and Vanessa was on top of them every single time. I don't know how I would have made it through the day without them! -

Everything about our experience with Faythe and her team was wonderful, from our first interaction on thumbtack to the end of the night at the reception.
As an officiant, Faythe helped us put together a ceremony that was personal to us and enjoyable to our guests. She was very communicative about the flow, and synthesized our personal stories (and ran a very tight ship during rehearsal).
As a planner/coordinator, Faythe was a lifesaver for us planning an out-of-state wedding. Everyone, from wedding party to vendors, knew exactly where to be and when, where everything went, and most importantly, as the bride and groom, we didn't have to worry about a thing on the day-of. She helped us in terms of unanswered questions we wouldn't have known to ask, being the point-of-contact for everyone (no one asked us any questions on the wedding day, which you will find out is a beautiful thing), and keeping us fed and hydrated. All we could ask for on the wedding day was for nothing to go wrong, and Faythe got us there, and above and beyond to a perfect day. -

My husband and I got married this past April. Both he and I were very busy and we barely had time to plan our wedding. We hired Nicole our day of planner and it was the best decision we could have made. On our wedding day she ensured that neither my husband nor I worried or dealt with any issues that arose. We were able to enjoy our wedding completely! You will not be disappointed if you choose Your Big Day as your wedding planner. -

Nina was our "day of event coordinator" at my daughters wedding. She encouraged phone calls and emails anytime we had questions or needed some help or a little advice. The day of the wedding Nina's sense of style and eye for detail came shining through! With little direction from us, she placed chairs, tables, signs and decorations in the most beautiful way! We didn't need to worry about a thing, Nina made sure everything ran smoothly. We could not have pulled off this amazing wedding without her. -

Nicole and her team are just the best people to work with. From our first sit down to the wedding day they were professional and so accommodating. Nicole guided me with vendor choices and was patient when I know my questions were starting to get redundant and silly. She made us feel heard and helped keep me sane during the whole wedding planning process. On our wedding day, Nina (one of the coordinators) went over and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. She even took my grandfather back to the hotel when the shuttle hadn't started and the hotel was giving my grandma a hard time on the phone. That little thing was just so kind and shows how amazing the ladies at Your Big Day are. I highly recommend Your Big Day and I am so happy that we chose them for our wedding. THANKS, NICOLE AND TEAM!!! -

I'm so happy I chose to use Your Big Day for my "Day of Coordination". I never would have been able to pull everything off without them! My only regret is that I didn't decide to use them early in my wedding planning. I messaged Nicole two weeks before my wedding because I wasn't sure how I could possibly do everything myself. We had a phone consultation so she could gather details and then she was just a phone call or message away to answer any questions or give me suggestions/recommendations. Communication was excellent!
Nicole's assistant, Nina, was on site the day of my wedding. She was FANTASTIC, such a HUGE help! She was constantly busy and her attention to detail was outstanding! She definitely made the day run smoothly and I appreciate the time and effort she put in to making my day so wonderful!! It was such a relief to have my mom getting ready with me, rather than doing all of the things that Nina ended up taking care of! I highly recommend Your Big Day!!

Nicole is absolutely the best in the game! I cannot express how passionate and committed she is to making your wedding day truly the best (and most stress free) day of your life. We had both our ceremony and reception at North Park Lodge. Nicole was on top of everything from coordinating with all the vendors to being one of the last people at the end of the night cleaning (she wouldn't let my mom pick up one garbage bag). I forgot a guestbook that day and was so unbelievably touched when I saw she left to run home and put together a picture frame for people to sign. Nicole is an absolute joy to work with and I would choose her a thousand times over!!!! -

Nicole is seriously the BEST! When we met, it was not intimidating at all and she eased all of our concerns and anxiety! She was so warm and personable and I knew in an instant that she would get things done!! I contacted Nicole with a month left before my wedding. I did not have a clear idea what I needed help with, aside from wanting someone other than me to be the point person on my big day. Nicole was the only planner I spoke to who was provided a clear-cut plan, she explained some common issues and how she typically handles them. Some of the things she discussed - I had never thought about! I felt so relieved when I got off the phone that my wedding would be in good hands. Her sister, Vanessa, ended up being my point person the day of the wedding and I could NOT have been more satisfied! She took my vision and brought it to life. I was overly organized with my decorations but was not sure how to actually bring any of it together - she brought it to life, though, better than I imagined! My now-husband and I did not have to deal with any issues the whole night, and when one issue did arise, we simply told Vanessa and she handled it right away. I would (and HAVE) HIGHLY RECOMMEND Your Big Day to any one considering a wedding planner or day of coordinator. It is WELL WORTH it. You only have one day, and you do not want to be stressed or have any of your family members stressed... let everyone enjoy it and leave it to the professionals! -

I attended a workshop held by Your Big Day. I had been engaged for a while but we had not started planning. My mom and I didn't know the first thing about wedding planning. Nicole and the vendors she invited were nothing short of AMAZING. They answered all of our questions, individually and in the group setting. She even provided us with a wedding planning binder. I would recommend Nicole to all brides! -

I attended a Wedding Planning Workshop this past year with Nicole. I had just gotten engaged and did not know where to start. I found this planning workshop online and attended it with my maid of honor. Nicole had great advice and I got to meet and hear from other vendors as well. She was very helpful in answering all my questions and able to point me in the right direction. I even booked a vendor I had met at the Wedding Planning Workshop. -

I absolutely loved working with Nicole and her team! Every step of the way, Nicole was extremely responsive, professional, knowledgeable, and a great executor. She's very organized and her planning process was essential to make sure we had everything all worked out. The day of the event, I didn't worry about a SINGLE THING because everything was in our lead coordinator, Vanessa's, very capable hands. Vanessa kept us on schedule, worked with all the vendors to keep things running smoothly, and tackled all last-minute issues so expertly that my husband and I didn't have to make a single decision the day of the wedding.
What I loved most about working with Nicole is that her process is extremely proactive without being pushy. It's logical and well-organized, which I appreciate as a professional who regularly manages projects and events. Nicole and team do an excellent job honoring the wishes of the bride and groom, while also making sure all the surrounding friends, family, and vendors know what's going on and are included, which I think is a very difficult job, but the YBD team makes it look effortless.
I would gladly recommend Nicole & team to anyone getting married in or around Pittsburgh! -

I could cry thinking about how amazing Nicole is. My husband and I planned our entire wedding but realized how overwhelming things would be day of. We literally just stumbled upon her services and I can honestly say they were some of the best money spent on the wedding. She is worth every penny and then some. I had 1 phone call with her and sent 1 email with my decor inspo prior to the wedding and she just nailed it. She has this amazing calm approach to her which made me and my bridal party feel great. She set up all decor based off of that initial email and hardly asked me any questions. She queued our ceremony and ensured everything flowed perfectly. I am positive that the wedding would have been a stressful, hectic, less enjoyable experience had she not been there!
I am blown away by her and would recommend her to everyone. Even my friends and family were commenting on what a great job she did helping to direct, organize, and set up. She stayed until the wind down of the wedding to tear down and organize so that we would have 0 stress in leaving. She even sent me pictures and a few videos she took so that we'd have something special to wake up to the next morning!
Whether you're planning to hire a coordinator or think you don't need one, you should definitely book Nicole. Your entire day will be stress free because of the care and detail she puts in to ensuring you're enjoying yourself and your partner! -

Nicole was everything we could have wanted in an wedding planner and more for my daughters wedding. She was always willing to take calls, answer emails and, more than anything, keep this crazy mother of the bride calmed down and on track. I don't know how I could have gotten through the day of the wedding without her being there to handle all the details. I was able to enjoy the wedding and reception without having to worry about anything. -

I got married in Pittsburgh back in July. My husband and I live in NYC and I am not from Pittsburgh (and I’m not super familiar with the city), so you can imagine that planning was a little stressful. When I first reached out to Nicole on the phone, I wasn’t completely sold that we needed a day of coordinator, however she put me at ease right away and I was very convinced that it would be money well spent. If you are like me and are on the fence about if you need a day of coordinator, you should at least talk to Nicole. She wasn’t pushy at all, but she definitely made me realize how many things are going on during the day that I didn’t even think of.
Even though we only went with the day of coordination, Nicole was very helpful answering any questions during the time leading up to the wedding. I am the type of person who has trouble delegating, or asking for help when I am overwhelmed, but Nicole even made sure to reach out to me if we hadn’t touched base in a while to make sure the planning was going okay and that I didn’t have any questions. The week before the wedding I was able to pass the reigns off to her to finalize all the details with the vendors, so that I didn’t have to worry.
The day of the wedding I didn’t feel stressed at all -because I knew if anything was to go wrong that Nicole would handle it- and that feeling alone was priceless. I remember walking into the venue before the ceremony and being so excited to see how everything had come together and how she was able to set everything up just the way (maybe even better) than I had imagined. My husband and I had an amazing day and everything felt perfect and like a dream. And if anything did go awry that day, we were blissfully unaware! I am so glad that we made the decision to book Nicole, because I was able to put almost all of my focus on the most important part of the day, marrying the man I love! -

I didn't think I needed a wedding planner--our reception venue had one and she was really great. But then, I thought of my ceremony, which was originally at a church, and I knew I needed someone to be there for me so I didn't have to worry about details. I read reviews on Wedding Wire and visited websites and Nicole sounded perfect. I liked that she was so flexible and would put my interests above those of the venue, so we met and I hired her.
Four days before our ceremony, we learned that we couldn't have our ceremony at the church, so it would be moved to the same venue as the reception. Nicole worked with the staff at the hotel, including their event planner, to make sure our wedding was perfect. She conducted the rehearsal the night before and made sure we knew what to do. The day of the wedding, she folded my programs, took charge of our purses and our "extra" shoes--the ones we planned to put on when our feet got tired--and other details so I wouldn't have to worry about them.
Nicole was a joy to work with! If you are planning a wedding and feel like there are so many details to cope with, please do yourself a favor and hire Nicole. You won't regret it! -

I cannot say enough amazing things about Nicole and her team. I don't know what we would have done without them. Our wedding was very much DIY and I had worried early on how I was going to pull off everything since our venue (the National Aviary) doesn't allow set up until later the day of the wedding. After talking to Nicole, I was convinced she was the missing piece. Her and her team pulled off all of the details of our big day flawlessly and kept everything running so smoothly. I didn't have to worry about a thing all day, it took so much stress off of me. Nicole made sure she had all of the details of the day that were important to me in order before the big day and pulled everything together perfectly. I cannot recommend her enough - if you're debating on whether to hire a coordinator, DO IT! I've told everyone, it's the best money I spent on my wedding day, hands down! -

After working with Nicole for our wedding at Heinz History Center, I am convinced she is the BEST wedding planner in the Pittsburgh area! My husband, Matthew, and I worked with Nicole for approximately 10 months planning our wedding and she was so helpful! Not only did she respond immediately to the questions I had, she took every detail I had seriously, even if it was the smallest little detail. She was so energetic and passionate about her role in my big day, I felt completely comfortable giving her 100% of the responsibilities on our wedding day. Notably, the day of my wedding went off without a hitch! Everything was calm and relaxing due to her hard work and management skills. I remember walking through the cocktail hour and reception to see all of the decorations, tables, etc. and thinking, wow, Nicole did a great job and this is exactly what I envisioned. I HIGHLY recommend her for YOUR BIG DAY! -

"Nicole, take the wheel!"
I really got lucky that Nicole happened to be on the "recommended vendor" list from my venue - hiring her was the best decision I could have made. I didn't think I needed a coordinator, but a friend who was married recently (in Texas) said "hiring a day-of coordinator was the best money we've ever spent". So, I decided to look for a day-of coordinator and ran across Nicole. And I agree - Nicole was definitely the right decision and worth every penny (and more!).
If you're looking for a wedding planner, even a day-of planner, hire her. If you don't think you need a wedding planner, hire her anyway, you will be so happy that you did.
Nicole really went above and beyond with everything - after sharing my vision with Nicole, I had a stress free wedding day...even my bridesmaids were like "you're the best bride ever, not worried about anything!"...my reply? "Nicole will handle it". And she did. Everything. From last minute steaming of some linens to gluing paper flowers on my napkin rings (I ran out of time to do this myself of course) to setting up the place settings exactly how I wanted to getting my cheesecake out of the refrigerator and setting it on my cake plate just in time for our cake cutting to helping with cleanup - I didn't have to do anything, Nicole knew what I wanted to do that day and she made sure everything was in the right place for it to happen. She even had a kit full of odds and ends that contained Benadryl for the guest who was stung by a bee! Seriously, she'll have everything covered, even the things you haven't thought of yet (and might not even know about because they'll be taken care of!). And she'll be fun to work with and have great ideas and suggestions. I had 100% trust in her and she delivered. I highly recommend her.

Nicole at Your Big Day is amazing!! She responds immediately, goes above and beyond, is sweet without fail and just an all around good person. I am a wedding planner and hiring someone was hard...in fact I hired her last minute and she was able to jump in, figure it out, read my mind and get it done. BEST DECISION EVER!! Like I told Nicole... I had a total of 10 minutes of stressed the entire night. It was perfect. Can't reccommed her enough. -

Nicole had a very tough job set out for her, as we had a lot of issues with our catering/rental company the week of the wedding, as well as the day of. She handled it all perfectly! I would recommend her to everyone I know who will be getting married. She enabled me to enjoy my day, and forget about all the pieces that went wrong. Her help probably saved me from having a very stressful day. Best money I spent out of the entire wedding!!! -

Nicole at Your Big Day was hired by my best friend and maid of honor to be my day-of coordinator for my wedding. I planned my wedding myself from thousands of miles away and discovered that no matter how much one might plan, there is always WAY more to do than what I could imagine. Nicole truly saved my wedding by taking over and executing everything - way better than I could have hoped for, especially considering how much needed to be done in a very short amount of time. AND I had an outdoor wedding, it poured down rain the entire day until about an hour before the wedding started - and Nicole and her team still made everything look and run so smoothly and beautifully! My day would have been a disaster if Nicole had not been there, I owe her everything for making it work well. My guests were happy and enjoyed themselves so much, and I was put at ease thanks to Nicole's abilities and hard work. I am so grateful to Nicole and Your Big Day for making what could have been a total mess into a great wedding, and I HIGHLY recommend her services to anyone needing a quality wedding planner/coordinator! -

This company was a life saver for us at our wedding! They were so professional and helpful. I would definitely recommend their services! They helped us with decorating and coordination the day of our wedding as well as helpful tips in pulling everything together. Best decision I made to hire them! -

Your big day was very generous in the amount of services provided for the rate. The coordinator set up a day of set up and tear down team and even offered some preplanning services and great help with design advice. -

It's always so nice to talk with Nicole and she's always so informative and willing to help others in any possible way. Prompt with emails, great experience, loves DIY and helps brides be creative so they incorporate their own special touches at their weddings, etc. I can't say enough great things about her. Without a doubt, I would refer her to my friends/family! -

I attended a bridal show at a winery and it was very professional and I gained a lot of info for my upcoming wedding. I never saw the purpose of a wedding planner until I saw the DIY event. Loved it and will be finding a way to fit them into my budget in the future. -

Nicole & Vanessa were so amazing! Nicole was so helpful. When it came closer to my big day i would literally text her a hundred times a day and she never made me feel uncomfortable doing so. I had full trust in them that my big day would be perfect. And it absolutely was. They set up my venue for me, making it look gorgeous. I would recommend them to anyone. Though we did not spring for a wedding planner, we did go to one of Nicole's workshops. Very informative and I was able to take-away a lot of information. You can tell Nicole definitely knows her industry and is very knowledgeable. I would recommend her workshops! -

Nicole was wonderful in the beginning. She was only hired for day of services to make sure my backyard wedding/reception was executed properly. NOT being a typical wedding venue I knew my family and I would need the help. Nicole did suggest vendors and offer decorating support on the day of which was not in our original contract. It was super sweet of her! However, what I did hire her for was to coordinate the night of my wedding and reception and make sure to manage the vendors so the night flowed smoothly with little error. Unfortunately, nicole was not present most of the night and the duties of the execution of the time line fell on myself (the bride) and my family. I thought Nicole's job was to manage the night and continually check in with the vendors to keep them on track. Later I came to find out that the duties I thought were nicole's actually weren't in her contact. Reflecting on my experience with nicole, I was disappointed. As an unhappy bride I discussed my concerns with nicole following the wedding but was met with excuses and unprofessionalism. She told me her contact isn't as thorough or complete as other planners because her job is a grey area and that it isn't her job to micro-manage the vendors throughout the night. I am sad because nicole is an amazing person who loves her job, but I definitely didn't receive what I paid a good amount for....a planner that would be present and manage the vendors all night so that reception traditions and buffet time would flow. JUST be sure to know what is in the contract and discuss and put in writing exactly what it is you expect. I learned my lesson the hard way. I hope my review will be helpful to those who choose Your Big day in the future. -

I'm so glad we fired Nicole. As an out of town bride I was super organized and gave vendors months of notice when I would be in town. Well, Nicole forgot about our venue tour, which would be forgivable, but then she proceeded to blame me. I was in absolute shock. This was also the first opportunity we had to meet in person, since we only had a few chances to come into town. The whole situation was so upsetting that I immediately decided to look for a new day of coordinator. A sincere apology without the arguing was all I needed to feel like I could continue using Nicole. My husband was hopeful she would work even harder to rebuild our trust, but the incident happened April 29th and we had not heard from her until June 2nd, after I fired her. Even when I fired her she argued with me. This further proved to me I would rather loose our $490 deposit than continue working together. I guess she felt she didn't have to earn my business since she already had half the money? The industry standard is a 10-30% deposit. Had I know that before we booked her, maybe that would have raised a red flag. I eventually found a great planner that was so sweet and felt she really listened to me -not pushy at all! I suggest you meet IN PERSON to make sure you vibe with your planner. If I would have been able to, maybe I could have avoided all the stress. -
